This position involves creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality technical documentation for complex IT systems, network operations, and cybersecurity protocols used in Air Force Central Command operations.

You will collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and military personnel to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documents such as user manuals, system guides, procedures, and training materials. Ensuring compliance with DoD standards and security requirements is paramount.

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical writing within IT or defense sectors.
• Proficiency in documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of IT systems, networking, cybersecurity, and military protocols.
• Excellent writing, editing, and research skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (Secret level preferred).
• Familiarity with AFCENT or DoD documentation standards.
• Experience with version control systems and collaborative writing environments.
