Blume Global is seeking a backend developer to help build and scale our logistics and supply chain APIs. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining RESTful services that power our global platform. This contract role involves working with Node.js, Express, and various database technologies to deliver reliable and high-performance solutions for our enterprise clients.

In this role, you will join a dynamic backend team at Blume Global focused on enhancing our core API services. Our platform handles millions of transactions daily, providing real-time visibility and orchestration for the global supply chain. As a Backend API Developer, you will contribute to the evolution of this critical infrastructure.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Designing and developing new API endpoints based on product specifications.
• Optimizing existing services for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Integrating with third-party services and data providers.
• Writing clean, well-tested, and maintainable code in a Node.js environment.
• Collaborating with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers in an agile setting.
• Participating in the full software development lifecycle, from conception and design to deployment and monitoring.
• Troubleshooting and resolving production issues in a timely manner.
