Blume Global is seeking a Backend API Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable server-side applications using Node.js. You will work on the core services that power our global logistics and supply chain platform. This role requires a strong understanding of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and database integration. You will contribute to a mission-critical system that orchestrates the movement of goods around the world.

In this role, you will be responsible for building the backbone of the Blume Global platform. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Core Duties

• Design and implement secure, scalable, and low-latency RESTful APIs in Node.js.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for server-side applications.
• Integrate with various data storage solutions, including relational and NoSQL databases.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Manage and deploy applications within a cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Troubleshoot and debug production issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
