We are seeking a Backend Developer for a 12-month contract to join our platform team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the microservices that form the backbone of our application. Our backend is primarily written in Go, but we are open to strong backend developers from other language backgrounds (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js) who are willing to learn.

Project Focus:

The main project for the coming year is to build out a new set of services related to real-time data processing and analytics. This will involve working with technologies like Kafka, gRPC, and PostgreSQL.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and resilient microservices.
• Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code.
• Integrate with data streams and message queues.
• Collaborate with other engineers to define API contracts and system architecture.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services in our production environment.
