Join our team as a Backend Python Developer for a 10-month contract. You'll be building and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Django or Flask. This role requires strong experience in Python, API design, and database integration. Work remotely with a collaborative and agile team.

This is a long-term contract position for a skilled Backend Developer proficient in Python. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side logic for our core application. This involves building and enhancing our RESTful APIs, integrating with various third-party services, and ensuring the high performance and responsiveness of our backend systems.

Project Scope:

Your primary focus will be on the development of new microservices that handle data processing and business logic. You will work closely with our frontend developers to define API contracts and with our DevOps team to deploy services in a containerized environment.

Daily Tasks:

• Writing clean, scalable, and efficient Python code.
• Developing RESTful APIs using frameworks like Django or Flask.
• Integrating with databases, message queues, and other services.
• Writing unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Participating in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshooting and debugging production issues.

We are looking for a developer who is passionate about building robust and scalable backend systems. You should be a self-starter, comfortable taking ownership of features from conception to deployment. While no certification is required, a strong portfolio or demonstrable experience is a must.

• 2+ years of backend development experience with Python.
