OMERS is seeking a skilled Business Analyst for a 12-month remote contract to drive data-driven insights and process improvements in our financial operations. As a Business Analyst on this 12-month contract with OMERS, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing business requirements, identifying inefficiencies, and recommending solutions to enhance operational performance. OMERS, one of Canada's largest pension plans, manages investments and provides retirement services, and your work will directly support our mission to deliver sustainable value to members.
Key responsibilities include gathering and documenting user requirements, conducting data analysis to inform business decisions, creating process flow diagrams and user stories, and collaborating with IT and finance teams to implement process improvements. You will also participate in stakeholder meetings, perform gap analysis on current systems, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards in the financial industry.
This remote position requires a proactive individual with a keen eye for detail and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
