We are seeking a certified SQL expert for a project dedicated to performance tuning our production database. Your mission will be to analyze our database performance, identify slow queries, and implement optimizations to improve speed and efficiency. This is a highly specialized role that requires deep knowledge of SQL, query execution plans, and indexing strategies. Your work will have a significant impact on the responsiveness of our entire application.

Our application's performance is heavily dependent on our database, and we need an expert to help us make it as fast as possible. As our SQL Performance Tuner, you will be our go-to person for all things related to database performance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Use database monitoring tools to identify long-running queries and performance bottlenecks.
• Analyze query execution plans to understand how the database is processing queries.
• Optimize queries by rewriting them, adding hints, or creating new indexes.
• Review our database schema and recommend changes to improve performance, such as adding or modifying indexes.
• Analyze table statistics and ensure they are up-to-date.
• Work with our developers to help them write more performant SQL queries.
• Document your findings and the optimizations you have made.
