• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in database administration, with expertise in SQL Server, Oracle, or similar RDBMS
• Proficiency in SQL programming, database tuning, backup/recovery procedures, and performance monitoring
• Strong knowledge of data security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with HIPAA standards
• Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., AWS RDS, Azure SQL) and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team
• Certifications such as SQL Database Management or equivalent preferred
