As a DBA with a focus on Postgres and AI at ECS, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems that support our cutting-edge AI initiatives. Your responsibilities will include monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with data scientists and developers to integrate AI-driven insights into our data pipelines. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DBA, with deep knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, including installation, configuration, tuning, and backup/recovery.
• Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and experience integrating AI models with database systems for data processing and querying.
• Strong understanding of database security, performance optimization, and scaling in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with SQL optimization, indexing, and query planning; familiarity with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote team environment.
