As the Director of Water Resources at NV5, you will spearhead the strategic direction of our water resources practice, driving the delivery of high-impact projects that address urban water challenges, flood control, and sustainable resource allocation. • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in water resources management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven expertise in hydrology, hydraulics, stormwater management, and water supply systems
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to water resources (e.g., Clean Water Act, NPDES)
• Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and team leadership
• Proficiency in relevant software tools such as HEC-RAS, AutoCAD, or GIS applications
• Ability to travel as needed and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
