• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing engineering teams
• Proven track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget in a tech or healthcare environment
• Strong knowledge of modern software development practices, including Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Experience with full-stack development, particularly in JavaScript/Node.js ecosystems
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and grow engineering talent
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA equivalents)
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English; German is a plus
