• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• At least 5 years of experience in information systems security engineering or a similar role
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST, RMF, and DISA STIGs
• Proficiency in security tools and technologies including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability scanners
• Experience with system hardening, risk assessments, and security control implementation
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and cloud security principles
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Security+ are highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to obtain a security clearance
• Hybrid work requires occasional on-site presence in San Antonio
