As an IT Security Specialist III – Compliance & Controls at Gama-1 Technologies, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our federal government contracts by developing and maintaining a comprehensive security compliance program. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent preferred
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years focused on compliance and controls in a government or regulated industry
• In-depth knowledge of federal regulations including NIST, FISMA, and FedRAMP; experience with risk assessments and audit processes
• Proficiency in security frameworks like ISO 27001 and COBIT; hands-on experience implementing access controls, encryption, and monitoring tools
• Strong analytical skills for identifying vulnerabilities and developing mitigation strategies; excellent communication to liaise with stakeholders
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (Secret level preferred)
