Life Fitness is seeking a junior JavaScript developer for a short-term project to implement client-side logic for a new e-commerce feature. You will be writing vanilla JavaScript to handle user interactions, form validation, and simple API calls on the product customization page. This is a great opportunity to apply your core JavaScript skills in a real-world application.

This hourly project is focused on enhancing the user experience of our e-commerce platform. We are launching a new product customization tool, and we need a developer to implement the client-side interactivity using fundamental JavaScript. You will not be required to work with a complex framework; this is a chance to focus purely on core language skills.

Project Tasks:

• Form Validation: Implement real-time validation for user inputs on the customization form. This includes checking for required fields, data formats, and providing clear error messages to the user without a page reload.
• Interactive UI: Write event listeners to handle user selections (e.g., color swatches, feature toggles) and dynamically update the product preview image and price display.
• API Integration: Use the fetch API to make asynchronous calls to a backend endpoint. You will send the user's selected configuration and handle the JSON response to confirm availability or update pricing.
• Code Quality: Write clean, readable, and well-commented JavaScript code that is easy for our internal team to maintain after the project concludes.

You will be provided with the static HTML/CSS, a clear set of requirements for the interactive logic, and the specification for the API endpoint. You will work with a senior developer who will be available to answer questions and review your code upon completion.

• Solid understanding of core JavaScript concepts (DOM manipulation, events, asynchronous programming).
