We are seeking a certified Python Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain our data pipelines. You will be responsible for creating ETL processes that move and transform data from various sources into our data warehouse. Using Python and tools like Apache Airflow, you will build robust and scalable data infrastructure. This role is fundamental to our data and analytics strategy, and requires a developer with strong Python and SQL skills.

As a Python Data Engineer, you will be the architect of our data infrastructure. You will be responsible for building the systems that collect, manage, and convert raw data into usable information for our data scientists and business analysts. This is a technical, hands-on role where you will be writing code to build and orchestrate data pipelines.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable ETL pipelines.
• Write Python scripts to extract data from various sources, including APIs and databases.
• Perform data transformation, cleaning, and validation.
• Load data into our data warehouse (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
• Use a workflow management tool like Apache Airflow to schedule and monitor your pipelines.
• Write SQL queries to support data analysis and pipeline development.
• Work with our data team to understand their data requirements.

Our Data Stack:

We use Python as our primary language for data engineering. Our pipelines are orchestrated with Apache Airflow, and our data is stored in a cloud data warehouse. We use a variety of tools and technologies, and we are always looking for ways to improve our stack. This role will give you the opportunity to work with modern data engineering tools and solve interesting challenges at scale.

• 2+ years of experience in data engineering or backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Familiarity with a workflow orchestration tool like Airflow is a plus.
