We are seeking a certified Python developer to join our QA team as a Test Automation Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain our automated testing framework. You will write scripts to automate the testing of our web application's UI and API, helping us to ensure product quality and increase our development velocity. This role requires strong Python skills and a passion for quality assurance. You will be a key player in our software development lifecycle.

As a Python Test Automation Engineer, you will be a champion for quality within our engineering organization. You will be responsible for building the automated systems that allow us to test our application thoroughly and efficiently. Your work will enable our team to ship new features with confidence, knowing that they are backed by a solid suite of automated tests.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design and build a scalable and maintainable test automation framework using Python.
• Write automated end-to-end tests for our web UI using a framework like Selenium or Playwright.
• Write automated tests for our REST APIs.
• Integrate the automated test suite into our CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Analyze test results, identify bugs, and report them to the development team.
• Work with manual QA engineers to identify good candidates for test automation.
• Promote best practices for test automation across the team.

• 1+ years of experience in software development or QA automation.
