• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe systems, specifically IMS (Information Management System)
• Proficiency in IMS database administration, including DL/I calls, PSBs, and DBDs
• Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, and mainframe utilities
• Experience with performance tuning, backup/recovery procedures, and security implementation for IMS environments
• Familiarity with tools like BMC AMI, CA products, or IBM utilities for IMS management
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting
• Certification in SQL Database Management or equivalent mainframe-related credential preferred
