As the Manager of Test Engineering 2 at HII, you will play a pivotal role in leading a high-performing team responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing testing frameworks for innovative engineering solutions in the defense and aerospace sectors. Key responsibilities include overseeing the full test lifecycle, including unit, integration, system, and acceptance testing; collaborating with cross-functional teams such as design, development, and quality assurance; and driving the adoption of cutting-edge tools and methodologies to streamline processes and reduce time-to-market. • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's preferred
• 8+ years of experience in test engineering, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
• Proven expertise in test automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java), and hardware/software integration testing
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and project timelines
• Knowledge of industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and familiarity with defense sector regulations
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and experience with risk assessment in complex systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance (Secret level preferred)
