InsightGlobalIT, a leading IT staffing and consulting firm, is looking for a talented .Net DevOps Security Engineer to join our remote team on a W2 contract basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in embedding security into the software development lifecycle, focusing on .Net-based applications and DevOps workflows. Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing secure CI/CD pipelines, conducting security assessments, and automating threat detection to ensure robust protection against cyber threats.
You will collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to integrate tools like Azure Sentinel, SonarQube, and GitHub Actions into our .Net ecosystem. Key tasks involve scripting automation with PowerShell or Python, managing secrets in vaults like Azure Key Vault, and enforcing secure coding standards across microservices architectures. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying vulnerabilities early in the development process and contributing to incident response strategies.
