Seeking a skilled Node.js developer to design, develop, and maintain server-side microservices for our cloud-based platform. You will be instrumental in building the backbone of our application, focusing on performance, security, and scalability. This role requires a strong understanding of asynchronous programming and experience with modern backend technologies. You will work on a variety of services, from user authentication to data processing pipelines.
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining scalable and efficient server-side applications. You'll work with our product and engineering teams to define and implement new features, ensuring our backend architecture can support our growing user base. The ideal candidate is passionate about backend development and eager to tackle complex challenges in a distributed systems environment.
Our backend is primarily built with Node.js and TypeScript. We leverage Express.js for our RESTful APIs, connect to PostgreSQL and Redis for data storage, and deploy our services using Docker and Kubernetes on AWS. Experience with these technologies is a huge plus, but we value strong engineering fundamentals above all.
