We're hiring a Web Developer for an 8-month remote contract. You will be building and maintaining client websites using WordPress, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Strong experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development is required for this agency role.

We are a digital agency looking for a versatile Web Developer for an 8-month contract. You will be working on a number of client websites and web applications, primarily using WordPress and custom PHP, along with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Your Role:

• Develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
• Maintain and extend existing client websites.
• Implement frontend designs with a focus on responsiveness and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and other technical issues.
• Communicate with project managers to provide updates on your progress.

This role is perfect for a developer who enjoys variety and is comfortable working with the LAMP stack. While no certification is required, you must have solid experience with PHP and WordPress development.

• 2-3 years of web development experience.
• Strong proficiency in PHP and experience with WordPress development (themes and plugins).
• Solid skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (including jQuery).
• Familiarity with MySQL.
