Northumberland Ferries is seeking a skilled Port Engineer to oversee the maintenance, operations, and improvements of our ferry terminals in Caribou, Nova Scotia. • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Marine Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in port or marine infrastructure maintenance and operations.
• Proficiency in engineering software and tools for design and analysis, such as AutoCAD or similar.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance (e.g., Transport Canada guidelines).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee contractors and coordinate repairs.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work in outdoor and marine conditions.
