Avtech solution needs a sharp JavaScript developer for a 2-week project focused on resolving a backlog of frontend bugs. You will be assigned a list of documented issues in a web application, ranging from UI glitches to minor logical errors. Your job is to investigate, debug, and implement effective fixes for as many tickets as possible. We are looking to clear a backlog of small to medium-complexity bugs in our client-side application. As a JavaScript Bug Fixer, you will dive into an existing codebase to diagnose and resolve reported issues. This is a fast-paced role where you will tackle a variety of challenges and make a tangible impact on the application's stability and user experience.

What You Will Be Doing

• Work through a prioritized list of bugs in our issue tracking system (Jira).
• Analyze bug reports to understand the problem and the steps to reproduce it.
• Use browser developer tools and other debugging techniques to identify the root cause of issues in the JavaScript, HTML, and CSS code.
• Implement clean and effective solutions without introducing new bugs.
• Test your fixes thoroughly to ensure the issue is resolved and no regressions have been created.
• Commit your code and update the issue tracker with your progress and solutions.

This project requires a developer with a solid understanding of core JavaScript and web fundamentals. You should be comfortable reading and understanding code written by others and have a methodical approach to debugging. Success in this role is measured by the number and quality of bugs you can resolve within the project timeframe.

• Strong proficiency in vanilla JavaScript (ES6+).
