Join Addepar's frontend team to build and maintain a library of reusable React components for our wealth management platform. You will work closely with UX designers and product managers to create performant, accessible, and well-documented UI elements that will be used across multiple applications. This role requires a strong understanding of modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React best practices.

As a React Component Library Developer at Addepar, you will be a key contributor to our core user interface infrastructure. Your primary responsibility will be the design, development, and maintenance of a comprehensive library of reusable React components. This library is the foundation of our user experience, ensuring consistency, quality, and development velocity across all our product lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and product managers to translate design mockups and product requirements into functional, high-quality React components.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using TypeScript and modern React patterns (e.g., Hooks, Context API).
• Develop and enforce accessibility (a11y) standards across the component library to ensure our platform is usable by everyone.
• Create comprehensive documentation for each component, including usage examples, props tables, and best practices, using tools like Storybook.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure component reliability and prevent regressions.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to improve code quality and foster a collaborative environment.
• Assist application teams in integrating and utilizing the component library effectively.
