Join 1872 Consulting to build and maintain responsive, mobile-first websites. This role focuses on translating Figma designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect HTML and CSS code. You will collaborate with our UI/UX team to ensure a seamless user experience across all devices, from mobile phones to desktops. Your primary responsibilities will involve writing clean, semantic HTML5 and modern CSS3, including Flexbox and Grid, to create visually appealing and functional web pages that meet client specifications and accessibility standards.
As a Responsive Website Developer, you will be an integral part of our front-end team, tasked with bringing static designs to life. Your day-to-day will involve analyzing UI/UX wireframes and mockups from Figma and meticulously converting them into functional, responsive web pages. A strong emphasis will be placed on a mobile-first development approach, ensuring that the core experience is optimized for smaller screens before scaling up to tablet and desktop views.
You will utilize modern CSS layouts, including extensive use of Flexbox for component alignment and CSS Grid for complex page structures. A deep understanding of media queries is essential to create fluid and adaptive layouts. You will be responsible for writing clean, well-documented, and semantic HTML5 markup that not only structures content correctly but also enhances SEO and accessibility.
Collaboration is key in this role. You will work alongside designers to provide feedback on the feasibility of designs and with backend developers to integrate front-end code with server-side logic. You will also be responsible for testing your code across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices to identify and resolve any rendering issues, ensuring a consistent and polished user experience for all visitors. This project requires a developer who is passionate about creating beautiful, high-performing, and accessible websites.
The employer recommends obtaining this certification to validate your skills and enhance your application.
Note: You can still apply for this position without the certification, but having it will make your profile stand out and may be required to move forward in the hiring process.
