As a DevOps Engineer in SAP's Mexico Next Gen initiative, you will play a pivotal role in transforming how SAP delivers enterprise solutions through modern DevOps methodologies. This program focuses on building the next generation of SAP talent in Mexico, emphasizing innovation in cloud-native applications and sustainable IT practices.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining automated deployment pipelines to ensure seamless integration and delivery of SAP software updates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of developers, QA engineers, and product managers to optimize infrastructure for high availability and performance. Leveraging tools like Kubernetes for orchestration and Terraform for provisioning, you will contribute to scalable architectures that support SAP's S/4HANA and other flagship products.
In this role, you will troubleshoot complex issues in production environments, implement security best practices (DevSecOps), and drive continuous improvement through metrics and feedback loops. You will also mentor junior team members and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of excellence within the Mexico team.
