Net100 is looking for a dedicated Security Field Engineer to deliver on-site security solutions and support for clients in the Richmond area. In this role, you will install, configure, and maintain cybersecurity systems to protect against emerging threats.

As a Security Field Engineer at Net100, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our clients' digital assets by providing expert on-site support for security infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include assessing client environments, installing and configuring security hardware and software, conducting vulnerability assessments, and performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.

You will collaborate closely with our engineering team and clients to troubleshoot issues, implement best practices for threat mitigation, and train end-users on security protocols. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills, as you will often serve as the primary point of contact during deployments.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in field engineering or network security roles
• Proficiency in security protocols such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Strong knowledge of hardware installation and troubleshooting
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently on-site
• Certifications like CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent preferred
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
