Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL), a leader in Western Canada's co-operative network, is looking for a dynamic Senior Process Engineer to spearhead major projects that enhance operational excellence. Based in Regina, Saskatchewan, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing process improvements for our refining, distribution, and agricultural operations.

Your responsibilities will include leading multidisciplinary teams in the evaluation and optimization of complex processes, conducting feasibility studies for capital projects, and integrating advanced technologies to boost efficiency and reduce environmental impact. Key day-to-day activities:

• Perform process simulations and modeling to support project design and validation.
• Develop and review P&IDs, equipment specifications, and process flow diagrams.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure adherence to industry best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on process-related matters.
• Monitor project metrics and prepare detailed reports for senior leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in process engineering, with at least 5 years focused on major projects in industrial or energy sectors.
• Proven expertise in process design, optimization, and troubleshooting using tools like Aspen HYSYS or similar simulation software.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards, safety protocols (e.g., HAZOP, PSM), and environmental compliance in Canadian operations.
• Excellent project management skills, including experience with Agile or PMI methodologies for large-scale implementations.
• Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) certification in Saskatchewan or eligibility to obtain one.
