Dalet is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with expertise in C++ to join our innovative R&D team in Madrid. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and developing robust, scalable software components that form the backbone of our media asset management and workflow solutions. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate complex requirements into efficient, high-performance code.

Key responsibilities include designing and implementing features for our flagship products, optimizing code for performance in demanding media environments, conducting code reviews, and mentoring junior developers. You will participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept through testing and deployment, ensuring our solutions meet the needs of global broadcasters and content creators.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on C++
• Proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17) and object-oriented design principles
• Experience with cross-platform development, including Linux and Windows environments
• Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies
• Familiarity with media processing libraries or real-time systems is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong communication skills in English; Spanish is beneficial
