• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certifications such as CFA or FRM are highly preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in derivatives trading, settlement, or clearing operations within the financial services industry.
• In-depth knowledge of financial instruments, including options, futures, swaps, and other derivatives, along with relevant regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, EMIR, or Dodd-Frank.
• Proficiency in settlement systems and platforms like DTCC, Euroclear, or similar; experience with reconciliation tools and risk management software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to handle complex data and perform accurate reconciliations under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including traders, compliance officers, and clients.
• Fluency in English; additional languages such as Spanish are advantageous.
