NatWest Group is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our Financial Crime Services team in Edinburgh. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced certifications in cloud or DevOps (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer) preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps roles, with a focus on financial services or high-stakes environments.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation, and monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar, and scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.
• Understanding of security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and AML.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams; on-call experience preferred.
