NatWest Group is seeking a talented Site Reliability Engineer to join our Financial Crime Services team in Edinburgh. In this critical role, you will focus on maintaining the reliability, scalability, and security of platforms that detect and prevent financial crimes, ensuring seamless operations for millions of customers.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing automated monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify issues, optimizing system performance through capacity planning and load testing, and collaborating with development teams to integrate SRE practices into the software development lifecycle. You will troubleshoot complex incidents, conduct post-mortems to improve resilience, and contribute to disaster recovery strategies, all while adhering to stringent regulatory standards in the banking sector.
Our Financial Crime Services division leverages advanced AI and machine learning to combat evolving threats like money laundering and fraud. As an SRE, you will work with modern tech stacks, including microservices architectures on cloud-native environments, to deliver world-class uptime and efficiency.
