• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced certifications in SQL or database management preferred
• 7+ years of hands-on experience as a SQL Database Administrator, with proven expertise in SQL Server administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• In-depth knowledge of database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization techniques
• Proficiency in performance tuning, backup and recovery strategies, and high-availability solutions such as clustering and replication
• Experience with security best practices, including user access management, encryption, and compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA if applicable)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with cloud database services (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS) is a plus
