• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• 8+ years of experience in database infrastructure engineering, with proven expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB)
• Strong knowledge of database administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery strategies, and high-availability architectures
• Proficiency in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services such as RDS, DynamoDB, and database migration tools
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) and scripting languages (Python, Bash)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
