Year Up United is offering a trainee position for a UI Developer focused on React. This is an entry-level, remote role where you will learn to build beautiful, accessible, and high-performance user interfaces. As a UI Developer Trainee, you will embark on a structured, year-long program designed to build your expertise in modern front-end development with React. This role is perfect for someone with a creative eye and a passion for technology, who is eager to learn how to bridge the gap between design and implementation.

Your training and responsibilities will include:

• Component Development: Building a library of reusable and accessible React components based on design specifications.
• Styling and CSS: Gaining expertise in modern styling techniques, such as CSS-in-JS or CSS Modules, to create pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• State Management: Learning to manage application state effectively, starting with React hooks and potentially moving to more advanced libraries like Redux.
• Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with UI/UX designers to provide feedback on designs and ensure technical feasibility.
• API Integration: Fetching and displaying data from backend services to create dynamic and interactive user experiences.
